Gapfruit is now operational and engaging directly with OEMs and manufacturing partners across the region.
Gapfruit Birth Certificate enables OEMs to establish a hardware-rooted, cryptographically verifiable identity for every device during manufacturing. It uses the device’s existing Trusted Platform Module (TPM) to create a trusted identity without requiring OEMs to build and operate their own PKI, HSM and provisioning infrastructure.
Our initial focus is on device categories produced at significant scale and increasingly exposed to security, regulatory and lifecycle requirements, including:
- CCTV Cameras
- Networking Equipment
- Automotive ECUs
- Industrial Robots
- EV Charging Infrastructure
- Drones.
China and Taiwan are home to a significant part of the global electronics manufacturing ecosystem. Establishing a local presence allows Gapfruit to work directly with OEM engineering, product and manufacturing organizations as trusted device identity becomes an increasingly important foundation for connected products.
The objective is clear: make trusted device identity available at the point where devices are built, and make it simple for OEMs to adopt at scale.
